the only way i cn describe hw im feelin rite now is FED UP!!!

im sick n tired of certain ppl..they say sumthin n then jus end up lettin me down...like wat the hell!?...like if u got any respect for the other person, u'd atleast apologise...but nuh uh...nothin!!zilch...nada...!!

ok..so i was supposed to meet a friend, (lets name them B jus to make things easier) for lunch today..we'd organised it on saturday...n i was told, no, promised "we'll meet monday for lunch"....why was i stupid enought to believe  it...this isnt the 1st time ive been let down by B....n nw...im COMPLETELY fed up by it all...the broken promises..the let downs..n the feelin tht sumtimes im really not considered a friend or sis..more like jus sumbody whos there to talk to whenever is convenient for B....

so theres that off my chest...

mums gone india...she went on wednesday...i come home from work today..thinking ive jus walked into a cinema theatre....n im thnkin WTF?!!?!? dads got the tv soooo loud...n hes sittin rite in front of it....probably like 2 metres away from it...seriously...im thinkin...is it really that hard to hear from so close?!?! ugh...

 

now lemme try focus on sumthin a lil more positive...i got my hair cut!!  n so did maz...n we both lovin our new hairdos...lolz...maz is hilarious..i jus hav to say the word "fringe" n shes grinnin from ear to ear...lool...shes funny...

talkin abt funny...bro had me in a fit of laughter earlier on today....we were throwin the exercise ball at eachother...looollzzz....

 

now sumthin a lil more random...few weeks ago, we went to EOI...thats Evening Of Inspiration....that was at the Royal Albert Hall...it was a charity concert for orphans aroud the world...organised by IR...n it was FANTASTIC!! thats the only word i have for it at the moment..it was sooo good...

i mean like...i only really wanted to go cos OUTLANDISH were gna b there...i hadnt really heard of the other artistes n truthfully i really dont like seven8six...theyre too pop groupy for me...but they still performed well....

Habib Malik, the host, was great! hes hilarious!! jus as funny as he is in person..

Mo Amer...a comedian..was soooo funny...n this dude called Kareem Salama...from texas, whos a nasheed singer was sooo gud...its like i was expecting sum kinda cowboy dude...but his lyrics are really good!!....

n as for Hussein Zahawy and co....they were the BEST!!! watchin him and the other artistes...(a dude on tabla, a dude on a drumkit, a dude playin sum kinda traditional greek violin like instrument, and sumthin called the water drums...and oh yeh...HZ on the duf...) omggg they were gr8!! really reminded me of EGypt wen me n Tessa went to see this group called Fat'ha Salaamah (or sumthin like that) where it was a fusion of traditional and contemporary instruments....aahh...memories!!...

 

Talkin abt Egypt...Sobia got married last week...mashaAllah she looked amazing!! subhanAllah..its amazing how fast two years have gone past..Safina's a mummy now too..!!..its amazing hw much has happend in this time span...even tho it feels like times gone too fast....

 

Im seein Tessa on wednesday inshaAllah!! *biiiiiiiig grin* cant waitttt!!

it'll b a good break from home and work...

 

oh yeh...ive started my volunteer thingy too...had 1st day on saturday..was a lil bit boring...not really much...n its a bit far...but hey..its all abt gettin the experience...

 

omggg...i completely forgot!! i went on jury service too....lool...that was an experience...met sum weird n wonderful people there...and got bored out of my brains too...it can b quite boring...cos theres alot of sitting around...n ur confined in this small canteen which has too many people n not enough space... but hey..i survived!!

 

newayyy...thats enough for now...think that jus abt sums up everythin thts been goin on...

 

oohh...duhh am so stupid...fatima's been comin ova every weekend...cos shes in london at the moment for her pgce...n we went to watch RACE the otha day...gooooood movie....
