Married women come home, see what's in bed and go to the fridge. youth under the shade....Dear friends, if Allah gives us 60 years to live then it comes to around 22,000 days (60x365). All these days Allah gives us to prepare for one day of interview with Allah. That is on the Day of Judgement. On that day, Allah will ask us some questions and He wants some correct answers. Allah is so merciful that Hes already told us what the questions will be through the Quran and Ahadith. His mercy is so great that Hes even told us the answers to these questions. Now imagine, a student goes to write an exam. He opens his exam paper and finds the questions on one side. Then he finds that the answers to the questions are on the other side. Now after writing the exam, if this student still fails then what would that make him? He'd be the dumbest person around.
Well, tell you what, on the Day of Judgement, us people who knew the questions and answers will still fail! That is why, this is the time to wake up before we prove ourselves to be the dumbest of people.
Youth is the prime time of our lives. This is where people make important decisions like what to become in the future. Things you do in this time will most likely affect you throughout the rest of your life. That is why, it is important to bring Islam into your life during these days. Many people have the conception that when they get old then they will start practising Islam. You and me probably think this too. But look at it this way: If you want to become a famous football player then you would start playing right from your youth. As you grow up, you will become better and better. But if you think that you will start playing when you are an old man then the chances of
becoming famous is virtually zero. That's the reality. When we become old, we won't have enough energy to even stand up and pray. Because youth is the prime time of your life, that is why it is very precious to Allah. Allah has prepared a shade on
the Day of Judgement for those people who used to worship Allah in their youth. On that Day, there will be no other shade except the shade from the throne of Allah. Imagine standing outside on a very hot day under the sun for hours after hours. You would definitely want some shadow to rest under. But what about that Day when the sun will be much nearer to us and the heat will be much more extreme. Wouldn't you want some shade on that day? Ofcourse you would!
You and I are all weak in terms of keeping our duties to Allah and Allah is aware of that. Allah wants that we keep trying to do our best. If a baby falls down while walking
he tries to get up again and walk. He doesn't keep sitting down. Then a day comes when he does start to walk. Similarly, we should keep trying our best and not give up. A day will come when, Inshallah, we will be strong enough to obey Allah in every situation. Let us make a small promise to Allah right now that we will start doing the things for which we were sent to this life. Otherwise, we will be like that dumb guy who will fail the test on the Day of Judgement.
May Allah make it easy for us... Ameen! what happens when u sleep...Assalamualikum waramatullahi wabarakatu
Would you like to know what happens when you sleep?? Allah says in the Quran: It is Allah that takes the souls (of men) at death and those that die not (He takes) during their sleep: those on whom He has passed the decree of death, He keeps back (from returning to life),but the rest He sends (to their bodies) for a term appointed.Verily in this are Signs for those who reflect. Quran, Chapter 39 verse 42 This means: every time you sleep, Allah takes your souls, amongst many other souls he takes during sleeping. Then Allah decides who is going to be given another chance. For those who are blessed with another chance, Allah will permit their souls to go back to their bodies, the rest he keeps back from returning to life i.e.they die. This means: each time you go to bed you should never be sure you will get up again, you ONLY have 50% chance for coming back to life. This means: each time you go to bed you should be prepared for your hereafter. This means: when you wake up the next day you should appreciate how lucky (blessed) you are. And say "Blessed be the one who returned my soul to my body, and granted me another chance". This is what the prophet PBUH used to say when he wakes up. This means: when you wake up the next day you should make sure you utilize the new day as much as you can before sleep time comes,in case the new day you are living is the last chance you are given. This means: you should try to make sure you recite sura AL-MULK (chapter67) before sleeping, because the prophet PBUH promised that one who reads this sura before sleeping is saved from the punishment of the grave.May Allah forgive us all and bless us with a happy life in this dunya and the hereafter. Ameen May 27 The essence of Islam and ImanTHE ESSENCE OF ISLAM AND IMAN
Hazrat Tamim Dari has related: The Holy Prophet SallAllahu alaihi wasalam said, "Faith means sincerity of purpose and adheerence." We asked, "Sincerity and adherence to whom?" He replied, "To Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala, to His Book, to His Prophet, to the chiefs and leaders of the Muslims and to the common people." (Ma'ariful Hadis, Muslim)
THE LOWEST DEGREE OF IMANOn the authority of Hazrat Abu Said Khudri RaziAllahu Anhu the Holy Prophet SallAllahu alaihi wasalam said, "When one sees anything evil and against the shari'ah it is encumbent upon him to set it right through action, and if he cannot do that then through his words, and if he cannot do that then he must hate it from the center of his heart. And this is the lowest degree of Iman." (Muslim, Ma'ariful Hadis)
LOVE OF ALLAH AND HIS PROPHET
Hazrat Anas RaziAllahu Anhu reports the Holy Prophet SallAllahu alaihi wasalam as saying, "Whosoever possesses three qualities will be favoured with the sweetness of Iman - One who loves Allah and His Prophet more than anyone else. One who loves a human being for the Sake of Allah alone (without any expectation of worldy gain). One who is rescued from Kufr and fears returning to Kufr as he fears the Hellfire. (Bukhari, Muslim, Hayat-ul-Muslimeen) Hazrat Muaz bin Jabal RaziAllahu Anhu says: I asked the Holy Prophet SallAllahu alaihi wasalam about the most excellent Iman. He replied, "That you love anyone for the Sake of Allah and so be your hatred for the Sake of Allah, and that you devote yourself to the Remembrance of Allah." He asked, "Is there anything else, O Rasulullah?" The Holy Prophet SallAllahu alaihi wasalam then said, "That you like for others what you like for yourself and you dislike for others what you dislike for yourself." (Bukhari, Muslim, Musnad Ahmad, Ma'ariful Hadis) (Taken from book “Uswa-e-Rasool SallAllahu alaihi wassalam” by Dr. Abdul Hai) Characteristics of a pious muslimah...CHARACTERISTICS OF A PIOUS MUSLIMAH WOMAN (In the light of Quran & Hadith) Quranic verses
Allah has said that those women who are Muslims, who put their îmân in order, who are obedient, who give in charity, who fast, who protect their honour and chastity, who remember Allah abundantly - Allah has set aside forgiveness and a great reward for them.
Allah has said that pious women have the following qualities: they are obedient, and they protect their honour even if the husband is not at home. Allah has further stated that such women are good women, who are steadfast on the Sharî‘ah, whose beliefs are in order, who are obedient, if they commit any act that is contrary to the Sharî‘ah they repent immediately, who occupy themselves in the ‘ibâdah of Allah, and who fast.
Ahâdîth
1. Rasûlullâh sallallâhu ‘alayhi wa sallam said: "Allah's mercy descends on a woman who wakes up for tahajjud and awakens her husband as well."
2. Rasûlullâh sallallâhu ‘alayhi wa sallam said: "The woman who passes away in her virginity, while delivering a child or while in her nifâs shall receive the status of a martyr."
3. Rasûlullâh sallallâhu ‘alayhi wa sallam said: "The woman who loses three of her children and exercises patience considering it to be an act of reward, will be entered into jannah." A woman asked: "What if she only loses two children in this way?" He replied: "The reward for two is the same." Another narration mentions that a Sahâbî asked about one child and Rasûlullâh sallallâhu ‘alayhi wa sallam also mentioned a great reward for such a mother.
4. Rasûlullâh sallallâhu ‘alayhi wa sallam said: "The woman who miscarries, that child will draw its mother towards jannah as long as she exercises patience hoping to be rewarded."
5. Rasûlullâh sallallâhu ‘alayhi wa sallam said: "The best possession is a pious wife: when the husband looks at her he is pleased with her, when he orders her to do something she obeys, when the husband goes out, she protects her honour and chastity and remains in her home."
6. Rasûlullâh sallallâhu ‘alayhi wa sallam said: "Among the Arab women, the women of the Quraysh surpass all other women in two aspects: they are very compassionate to their children and they protect the wealth of their husbands."
Lesson: We learn from this that women should possess these two characteristics. These days, women spend the wealth of their husbands very lavishly. They should display far more compassion and attention to reforming their habits and mannerisms than what they display for their children’s food and clothing. If they do not do this, their compassion and tenderness will be incomplete.
7. Rasûlullâh sallallâhu ‘alayhi wa sallam said: "Marry virgin women because their relationship with their husbands is soft and tender, and they are pleased with the minimum that is spent on them."
Lesson: We learn from this that modesty, consideration and contentment are good characteristics in a woman. This does not mean that one should not marry widows. Instead, this is actually in praise of virgin women. There are certain Ahâdîth in which Rasûlullâh sallallâhu ‘alayhi wa sallam made du‘â for a certain Sahâbî for marrying a widow.
8. Rasûlullâh sallallâhu ‘alayhi wa sallam said: "When a woman offers her five times salât, keeps the fasts of Ramadân, safeguards her honour, and obeys her husband; she can enter jannah from whichever door she wishes."
Lesson: This means that if she is steadfast on the necessary forms of ‘ibâdah, there is no need to engage in other forms of ‘ibâdah which are very taxing. The status and reward that one receives for engaging in the other forms of ‘ibâdah can be obtained by a woman by merely obeying her husband, tending to her children, and fulfilling her domestic tasks.
9. Rasûlullâh sallallâhu ‘alayhi wa sallam said: "The woman who passes away in such a state where her husband is pleased with her will enter jannah."
10. Rasûlullâh sallallâhu ‘alayhi wa sallam said: "The person who has been blessed with four things has in fact been blessed with the treasures of this world and the hereafter. They are: a grateful heart, a tongue that remembers Allah, a body that exercises patience at the time of calamities and difficulties, a woman who does not cause any taint or blemish with regard to her honour and her husband's wealth."
Lesson: In other words, she should not lose her honour nor should she spend her husband's wealth without obtaining his pleasure.
11. Rasûlullâh sallallâhu ‘alayhi wa sallam said: "A noble and rich woman who is widowed and yet becomes dirty on account of serving and rearing her children to such an extent that they mature and live on their own or pass away, shall be close to me in jannah just as the index finger and middle finger are close to each other."
Lesson: This does not mean that there is more reward for a woman to abstain from remarrying. What this means is that if a woman feels that by her remarrying, her children will go astray and she has no inclination towards beautifying herself and no desires, then this will be her status.
12. A person said to Rasûlullâh sallallâhu ‘alayhi wa sallam: "O Rasûlullâh! A certain woman offers plenty of nafl salâts, fasts abundantly and gives a lot in charity. However she causes much verbal harm to her neighbours." He replied: "She will go into jahannam." The same person then said: "A certain woman does not offer many nafl salâts, does not fast abundantly nor does she give a lot in charity; she merely gives pieces of panîr (a type of cheese) in charity. However she does not cause any harm to her neighbours." He replied: "She will go into jannah."
13. A woman came to Rasûlullâh sallallâhu ‘alayhi wa sallam with two children, one she was carrying and the other she was holding by the hand. Upon seeing this scene, he said: "These women bear the children in their wombs, thereafter they give birth to them, and thereafter they display so much of love and compassion for them. Had their relationship with their husbands not been bad, and had they offered their salâts regularly, they would have went directly into jannah." May 24 why is honey so sweet?...one of my m8s sent me this...subhanAllah...amazing! :) Ever wondered why honey is so sweet Qisas.com One day, Prophet Muhammad was on his way to jihad with his Companions and after choosing a spot, he said to them “Eat whatever you want to eat here”. As they were about to commence eating, one of the Companions (radi Allah unhu) said: “Ya RasullAllah! There is nothing else to eat with bread”. Then the Companion saw a honey bee zapping noisily nearby and asked the Prophet “Why is this honey bee making such a noise? The Prophet replied “This bee is saying that all its fellow bees are uneasy because the Companions haven’t got anything to eat with bread. Even though the bees have a honey comb nearby in the cave but cannot bring it to the Companions” The Prophet then stated “My beloved Ali (radi Allah unhu) Follow this bee and bring the honey” Hence, Ali (radi Allah unhu) followed and returned with a bowl of honey which the Companions ate. As soon as they finished eating the bee returned again zapping about noisily. One of the Companions (radi Allah unhu) enquired “Ya RasulAllah! Why is the bee making noises again?” The Prophet replied “I have asked this bee a question and it is merely answering it. I asked the honey bee about what its food is and its answer is that its food is the flowers in the hills and the forests”. The Prophet continued “I then asked the bee that flowers are also sour, bitter and unpleasant in taste. Then how come in your mouth (the bees mouth) they transform into a crystal clean and impeccably sweet honey?” The bee then replied “Ya RasulAllah! Amongst our species, there lives a rich Queen. When we suck the juices of the flowers then our Queen sends her salah and darood sharif (blessings, salutations, honours and graces) to YOU (the Prophet )! And then all the other bees join in sending our darood to you hence all the sourness, bitterness and unpleasantness from the juices of flowers changes into a most sweet syrup and its because of the rewards from Allah of sending darood to you that this syrup transforms into the perfect honey (which besides death can cure any disease as Allah says in the Quran!)” If by reciting darood all the bitterness from the juices of flowers can change into a beautifully sweet syrup of honey, then by reciting darood our sins can also be transformed into hasanah (good deeds). Ameen. Narrated by: Maqasid Al-Salkain The Prophet Muhammad's Last Sermon...The Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) Last Sermon
This sermon was delivered on the Ninth Day of Dhul Hijjah 10 A.H. in the 'Uranah valley of Mount Arafat' (in Mecca). -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After praising, and thanking Allah he said:
"O People, lend me an attentive ear, for I know not whether after this year, I shall ever be amongst you again. Therefore listen to what I am saying to you very carefully and TAKE THESE WORDS TO THOSE WHO COULD NOT BE PRESENT HERE TODAY.
O People, just as you regard this month, this day, this city as Sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you. Remember that you will indeed meet your LORD, and that HE will indeed reckon your deeds. ALLAH has forbidden you to take usury (interest), therefore all interest obligation shall henceforth be waived. Your capital, however, is yours to keep. You will neither inflict nor suffer any inequity. Allah has Judged that there shall be no interest and that all the interest due to Abbas ibn 'Abd'al Muttalib (Prophet's uncle) shall henceforth be waived...
Beware of Satan, for the safety of your religion. He has lost all hope that he will ever be able to lead you astray in big things, so beware of following him in small things.
O People, it is true that you have certain rights with regard to your women, but they also have rights over you. Remember that you have taken them as your wives only under Allah's trust and with His permission. If they abide by your right then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness. Do treat your women well and be kind to them for they are your partners and committed helpers. And it is your right that they do not make friends with any one of whom you do not approve, as well as never to be unchaste.
O People, listen to me in earnest, worship ALLAH, say your five daily prayers (Salah), fast during the month of Ramadan, and give your wealth in Zakat. Perform Hajj if you can afford to.
All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not, therefore, do injustice to yourselves.
Remember, one day you will appear before ALLAH and answer your deeds. So beware, do not stray from the path of righteousness after I am gone.
O People, NO PROPHET OR APOSTLE WILL COME AFTER ME AND NO NEW FAITH WILL BE BORN. Reason well, therefore, O People, and understand words which I convey to you. I leave behind me two things, the QURAN and my example, the SUNNAH and if you follow these you will never go astray.
All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to others again; and may the last ones understand my words better than those who listen to me directly. Be my witness, O ALLAH, that I have conveyed your message to your people". sumthin to think abt....im nt sure if ive posted this already...but eitha way...its sumthin to think abt
It was early in the morning at four, when death knocked upon a bedroom Door. Who is there? The sleeping one cried. I’m Malik-ul-Mawt, let me inside. At once, the man began to shiver, as one sweating in deadly fever, He shouted to his sleeping wife; don’t let him take away my life. Please go away, O Angel of Death! Leave me alone; I'm not ready yet. My family on me depends; Give me chances, O please prepense! The angel knocked again and again, Friend! I’ll take your life without a pain, It’s your soul Allah requires, I come not with my own desire. Bewildered, the man began to cry Angel I'm so afraid to die, I’ll give you gold and be your slave, don’t send me to the unlit grave. Let me in, O Friend! The Angel said Open the door, get up from your bed, if you do not allow me in, I will walk through it, like a Jinn. The man held a gun in his hand; Ready to defy the Angel's stand. I’ll point my gun, towards your head, you dare come in; I'll shoot you dead. By now the Angel was in the room, Saying, O Friend! Prepare for you doom. Foolish man, Angels never die, Put down your gun and do not sigh. Why are you afraid! Tell me O man, To die according to Allah's plan? Come smile at me, do not be grim, Be Happy to return to Him. Angel! I bow my head in shame; I had no time to take Allah's Name. From morning till dusk, I made my wealth, not even caring for my health. Allah’s command I never obeyed, nor five times a day I ever prayed. A Ramadan came and a Ramadan went, But no time had I to repent. The Hajj was already FARD on me, but I would not part with my money. All charities I did ignore, Taking usury more and more. Sometimes I sipped my favorite wine; With flirting women I sat to dine. Angel! I appeal to you, Spare my life for a year or two. The Laws of Quran I will obey, I’ll begin SALAT this very day. My Fast and Hajj, I will complete, And keep away from self-conceit. I will refrain from usury, and give all my wealth to charity, Wine and women I will detest Allah’s oneness I will attest. We Angels do what Allah demands; we cannot go against His commands. Death is ordained for everyone, Father, mother, daughter or son. I’m afraid this moment is your last, Now be reminded, of your past. I do understand your fears, But it is now too late for tears. You lived in this world, two score and more, never did you, your people adore. Your parents, you did not obey, Hungry beggars, you turned away. Your two ill-gotten, female offspring, in nightclubs, for livelihood they sing. Instead of making more Muslims, You made your children non-Muslims. You ignored the Adhaan, nor did you read the Holy Quran.Breaking promises all your life, Backbiting friends and causing strife. From hoarded goods, great profits you made, And your poor workers, you underpaid. Horses and cards were your leisure, Moneymaking was your pleasure. You ate vitamins and grew fat, with the very sick, you never sat. A pint of blood you never gave, which could a little baby save. Human, you have done enough wrong; You bought good properties for a song. When the farmers appealed to you, You did not have mercy, it’s true. Paradise for you? I cannot tell, Undoubtedly you will dwell in hell. There is no time for you to repent; I’ll take your soul for which I am sent. The ending however, is very sad, Eventually the man became mad, with a cry, he jumped out of bed, and suddenly, he fell down Dead. O Reader! Take moral from here, You never know, your end may be near Change your living and make amends For heaven, on your deeds depends. May 20 Man's Tension....hehehe...this is funny....
Man's Tension
A wife was making a breakfast of fried eggs for her husband.
Suddenly her husband burst into the kitchen.
"Careful. CAREFUL! Put in some more butter! Oh my goodness!"
"You're cooking too many at once. TOO MANY! Turn them! TURN THEM NOW! We need more butter. Oh my!"
"WHERE are we going to get MORE BUTTER? They're going to STICK!"
"Careful ... CAREFUL! I said be CAREFUL! You NEVER listen to me when you're cooking! Never! Turn them! Hurry up! Are you CRAZY?"
"Have you LOST your mind? Don't forget to salt them. You know you always forget to salt them. Use the salt. USE THE SALT! THE SALT!"
The wife stared at him. "What's wrong with you? You think I don't know how to fry a couple of eggs?"
The husband calmly replied, "I wanted to show you what it feels like when I'm driving."
Fajr Salah...A man woke up early in order to pray the Fajr prayer in the masjid. He got dressed, made his ablution and was on his way to the masjid. On his way to the masjid, the man fell and his clothes got dirty. He got up, brushed himself off, and headed home.
At home, he changed his clothes, made his ablution, and was, again, on his way to the masjid. On his way to the masjid, he fell again and at the same spot! He, again, got up, brushed himself off and headed home.
At home he, once again, changed his clothes, made his ablution and was on his way to the masjid. On his way to the masjid, he met a man holding a lamp.
He asked the man of his dentity and the man replied "I saw you fall twice on your way to the masjid, so I brought a lamp so I can light your way." The first man thanked him and the two were on their way to the masjid.
Once at the masjid, the first man asked the man with the lamp to come in and pray Fajr with him. The second man refused. The first man asked him a couple more times and, again, the answer was the same. The first man asked him why he did not wish to come in and pray. The man replied "I am Satan."
The man was shocked at this reply. Shaitan went on to explain, "I saw you on your way to the masjid and it was I who made you fall.
When you went home, cleaned yourself and went back on your way to the masjid, Allah forgave all of your sins. I made you fall a second time, and even that did not encourage you to stay home, but rather, you went back on your way to the masjid. Because of that, Allah forgave all the sins of the people of your household. I was afraid if i made you fall one more time, then Allah will forgive the sins of the people of your village, so I made sure that you reached the masjid safely."
So do not let Satan benefit from his actions. Do not put off a good that you intended to do as you never know how much reward you might receive from the hardships you encounter while trying to achieve that good. If forwarding this message will bother you, or take too much time from you, then don't do imagine, that when you forward this, you receive 240 good deeds (and Allah knows best!),and so will I for sending it to you! Wouldn't it be easy just to press "Forward" and receive this reward?
